I know I haven't posted here much lately. Life has been busy.
BUT...
I have a complaint.
Although I haven't blogged here much lately, I still comment on other people's blogs.
Why in the HELL do some of you bloggers moderate your comments? It's annoying, precocious, and arrogant.
Hell, some of you so called "free-speech-don't-tread-on-me-wanting-to-play-online-poker-I'll-cut-you-with-a-wooden-spoon" advocates moderate your comments, so I call bullshit on you.
"Wah, wah, wah, I get spammed with people trying to sell shit".
Who cares? Delete them later when you have the time (and don't tell me that you bitches don't check your hits/comments on a regular basis).
Seriously, let the people comment who want to comment.

On another note: this is ridiculous, I don't know about your blog, but the spam to comment ratio on my blog(s) is around 300:1 (and that's a small estimate)...so commenting without moderation is not really an option...and if you've been approved once, you can post away...so...no biggie I guess...

I moderate my comments for the same reason you just stated...I take some interest in what I see on my site, and don't want BS on there at any time from spammers...plus it deters them from filling up my site with baloney when they see I moderate comments.
Not arrogant, just feel that if people wanna comment, they will, and it's easy to scan through the legit ones, even if they are from haters. I post them all, just not the spam shit.
I get your point, but to each his/her own. Hope you continue to drop by now and again...maybe I'll "reject" your next comment, just to piss you off.

A-men brotha! Comment moderation is anti-blog if you ask me. I've never deleted a post due to content (other than spam which I happily delete as I see it, though I never go back to old posts so there's probably tons there), even when people have posted redickulous or insensitive bullshit on the thing. Say what you want on my blog, and others can judge how big of an anus you are, that's my philosophy.
