Off To The Races

I believe that I have lost about the last 3792 races with AK vs. a small or mid pair.

And it's driving me up a fucking wall.

Discuss.

Well, well...as one of my opponents told me tonight, after sucking out on me and then winning two straight coin-flips in a row "It's all within the normal variance"...my reply: sure dude (= I know you f****** prick, it still sucks)...

So...well, it's all within variance I guess...what can you do? It all boils down to this: Sometimes you win x in a row...sometimes you lose x in a row...sometimes you lose x in a row, then win one and then lose x in a row again...

On another note: no doubt, all depending on the situation...e.g. when I've got a healthy stack and it's little to bust someone (tourney, I hold the two overs)...insta-call...if I've got a healthy stack and it's a substantial part of my stack...hmm...not really an insta-call...Long story short: the best way to avoid losing coinflips is to not play them - haha...oooh the wisdom - basically this is -ev (?!), but if I've got "no need" to play the coinflip (especially in tourneys)...why bother? Wait for a better spot...

...enough raving...better luck in the next flips :-)

"It's all within the normal variance".

Yeah, that prick says that now, but when HIS hand gets cracked, I'll bet he starts a flame war.

Thanks for the encouragement, ingoal.
